Our philosophy.

With a view to implementing sustainable production and in accordance with the principles of ethics and legality, Portovesme has adopted a whole series of Policies and Code of Conduct aimed precisely at regulating the actions of all those who, for various reasons, contribute to or become part of our production chain.

Therefore, with the precise aim of imprinting the conduct of its business activities with respect for these principles, Portovesme s.r.l. has adopted its own Code of Ethics, to which all the Company's employees and the companies with which we have commercial or collaborative relations must conform their conduct.

Our Code of Conduct affirms principles for the proper conduct of company business, which are also suitable for preventing unlawful conduct, and sanctions a series of rules of 'company ethics' that the Company recognises as its own and which it demands compliance with both by its own corporate bodies and employees, and by third parties who, for whatever reason, have relations with it of any kind.

All the Compliance Guidelines and Policies, issued by our parent company Glencore International, have been incorporated within our values and behavioural principles and, on the basis of these rules and principles, the Organisational Model of Portovesme srl has also been drafted.
